How Corisse Live works

  1. Book on corisse.com

    Choose an evening for your age band and what you're looking for. Every price is shown with its total, including the booking fee, and it's the same for everyone.

  2. Verify once

    Before you pay, a quick ID and live-selfie check with our ID verification provider confirms you're real and 18 or older. It's reused for future evenings.

  3. A 65-minute evening, hosted by Cora

    Cora, our AI host, welcomes you in the lobby 10 minutes early, explains how it works and keeps time. Then up to five one-to-one video dates of 8 minutes, with partners chosen for you in advance.

  4. A private yes or no

    After each date you have 2 minutes to decide. Nobody ever sees a no, or how many people said yes to them.

  5. Results at 9am

    The next morning at 9am we reveal only mutual matches, with a short note on what you have in common if you both agreed to AI matching.

  6. 48 hours to say hello

    Each mutual match gets a private chat on Corisse for 48 hours, so you can arrange to meet in person. After that it's read-only for 7 days, then deleted.

Your ID, explained

Verified once, kept private

  • Checked by a specialist

    A specialist identity-verification provider checks a scan of your photo ID and a live selfie (liveness and face match): the kind of check used in financial services. Its checks are automated.

  • We never keep your ID

    Corisse never receives or stores your ID images, your selfie or your document number. We only get a pass or fail result and confirmation that you're 18 or older.

  • Why we ask

    So everyone you meet is a real, verified adult. It also helps us keep out people we've removed from Corisse.

  • Kept only briefly

    Our provider keeps verification data only for a short period and then deletes it. It may be processed outside Australia, including in the European Union.

Our ID provider reports holding:

  • SOC 2 Type 2
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2022 information security
  • ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 27018 cloud security and privacy
  • iBeta Level 1 presentation attack detection (ISO/IEC 30107-3), testing that the live selfie can't be fooled by a photo or mask
  • A GDPR data processor: it processes your data for us, under our instructions

Safety at Corisse

Harassment, scams, sexual harm and image-based abuse have no place here. When something goes wrong, you can tell us in one tap, and we act on it.

  • Leave & report is in every date. The date ends at once and a person from Corisse is alerted.
  • We acknowledge reports within 24 hours, and never tell anyone who reported them.
  • Block anyone you've met: you'll never be paired again.
  • Video dates are never recorded. We never store audio or video.

What is Corisse Live?
An online speed-dating evening for Greater Melbourne, from home. Cora, our AI host, runs the evening: up to five one-to-one video dates of 8 minutes (or four of 10 minutes for a smaller group), with partners chosen for you in advance. The whole evening takes 65 minutes.
Who is Cora?
Cora is an AI, not a person, and she always says so. She welcomes you in the lobby, explains how the evening works, answers questions from our approved list, keeps every date on time and closes the evening. She never joins or listens to your private dates. A person from Corisse opens the doors and is alerted the moment anything is reported.
Does Corisse keep a copy of my ID?
No. Corisse never receives or stores your ID images, your selfie or your document number. We only receive a pass or fail result and confirmation that you're 18 or older, plus the date and a reference number for the check.
How much does an evening cost?
Our current test evenings are early bird A$49 + booking fee = A$52.81 total or standard A$59 + booking fee = A$63.35 total. Each event page shows its exact price and total before you book.
What if I don't match with anyone?
It happens, and it says nothing about you: nobody ever sees a no. We can't promise a match at any evening. On evenings with our First-match promise, a guest who attends and gets no mutual match receives a free ticket credit for a future evening.
When does it open?
We haven't set a date. It opens once enough verified members have joined across Greater Melbourne to make good introductions. Join the founding list to hear first.

We collect your email, first name, area, age range, gender, who you'd like to meet (if you tell us) and what you're interested in, so we can invite you and plan which areas to open first. Your details are stored in our Sydney database and never sold. See our Privacy Policy. To be removed from the list, email hello@corisse.com.
